Graphic Designer INTERNSHIP - Lehigh Valley Phantoms (Allentown, PA)

We are looking for students to work in our marketing department during the Spring and Summer months.  Our program participants need to have strong design skills and be eager to learn and work hard.  We reward hard work by giving interns the opportunity to add valued work to their resume and expand their portfolios. 


  • Design and illustrate graphic materials including logos, signage and promotional items
  • Develop cohesive design solutions for both print and web applications
  • Prepare files for prooof, print and final design
  • Catalog graphic design work into cohesive and understandable system


  • Creative and motivated college students that understand and excel at graphic design
  • Excellent knowledge of the Adobe CC including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Proficient in using a Mac
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player and not affraid to ask questions
  • Strong Organizational skills and keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Desire to work in a fun and challenging team environment

We are looking for students who can committ to working 3-4 days a week and occasional event nights

Spring 2016: Sales Internship - Springfield Falcons (Springfield, MA)

 The Springfield Falcons, The AHL affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, are seeking passionate and positive people who are committed to becoming leaders in the business of professional sports. Career growth-oriented sports sales development program, which focuses on developing the skills needed to become an inside sales and customer service professional. Under the guidance of the Ticket Sales Department, the intent of this program is to expand the applicant’s abilities to a level that will merit consideration for a promotion to a full time position within the sports industry following successful completion of the program.  You will be required to submit your availability ahead of time. This is an unpaid internship that can be used for class credit.  

• Make outbound calls to assigned leads to sell upcoming events and ticket packages
• Answer incoming single game calls with the ability to up-sell callers into packages, and groups
• Ability to work office hours during the week plus all Falcons home games
• Work all home games, plus additional nights, weekends and holidays outside of normal office hours, as assigned
• Represent the organization at in-house events and off-site community events promoting tickets
• Maintain computerized records of all ticket customers and prospects using our CRM data base Archtics
• Provide unsurpassed customer service to prospects and current clients over the phone, in office and at games or other events
• Assist customer service efforts (mailing invoices, tickets, etc…), and other office tasks
• Help with planning and organizing various sales and marketing initiatives and programs
• Attend weekly meetings and sales training/role-play sessions.
• Other duties as assigned


• At least one year of advanced education working towards a degree in Business, Sport Management, Marketing or related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule with long hours, which includes home games, nights, weekends and holidays as assigned

Ticket Sales and Customer Service Internship - Stockton Heat (Stockton, CA)

The Stockton Heat are currently seeking  Ticket Sales interns for the 2015-201 season. The most important department in any professional sports organization is the ticket sales department. Most jobs in the industry, especially most entry-level jobs, are in the ticket sales area. Therefore, it is imperative that those who wish to work in professional sports have a background, knowledge, and love for selling tickets and the ticket selling process. This internship will give the intern a vast knowledge of how professional sports organizations, especially minor league organizations, increase their ticket sales with group tickets. With this internship, you focus on the most important aspect of any professional sports organization, ticket sales.

• Assist in the daily operations of the Heat Group Sales department 
• Learn ticket sales process
• Learn Ticketmaster System to process group orders
• Creation and distribution of group sales marketing materials 
• Assist with marketing and promotional campaigns for the ticket sales department 
• Assist ticket department with season ticket holder or group sales mailings 
• Creating and maintaining ticket department databases and spreadsheets
• Maintain an organized profile of clients and prospects 
• Develop and implement programs for lead generation 
• Research and generate sales leads 
• Provide customer service to season ticket holders and implement customer relations programs both on and off site 
• Assist in servicing season ticket holders and other clients 
• Assist the sales staff in regard to their clerical duties
• Perform all other duties as assigned
• Assist in pre-game and in-game preparation for various activities, including any pre-game or intermission youth hockey games 
• Visit with group leaders during games


  •  Work at least 25 hours a week in the Heat office
  •  Work ALL home games.

This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations with day-to-day duties.  This internship MUST be taken for college credit.

• Assisting in the production of the W-B/Scranton Penguins Yearbook
• Providing content for and maintenance of the W-B/Scranton Penguins Web site
• Assisting with the creation and implementation of public and community relations efforts
