Sales Department Internship (2014-15 Season) - Milwaukee Admirals (Milwaukee, WI)

The Milwaukee Admirals are looking for a select few to participate in our Ticket Sales Department Internship Program. These college students, working hand-in-hand with our full-time sales staff, will focus on two specific areas throughout the season: season ticket sales and ticket operations.

Season Ticket Sales

We believe in walking Admirals fans up the season ticket staircase, and our Ticket Sales Interns are going to start with step one – our Flex Plans. With plenty of training and encouragement, each ticket sales intern will be asked to introduce our newest fans to our various Flex Plans and help them become Season Ticket Holders. Duties will be performed both in the office and at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on game Nights. These duties include:

• Setting up and staffing the DIGICopy Information Table and sales tables on game nights.

• Assisting Admirals staff with fulfillment of Season Ticket Holder and Group Leader perks.

• Have a firm understanding of our ticket plan options and benefits and communicate that to potential Flex Plan holders thru phone calls and emails.

• Organizing and leading group members to different locations for their game operation events.

• Maintain and service season ticket accounts throughout the year.

• Data entry of ticket leads and follow-up with new plans.

• Assist in various projects or other duties assigned by management.

Ticket Operations

The key to building attendance is retention – getting people who bought tickets to continue buying tickets. That doesn’t happen if people have a negative experience getting their tickets the first time around. Part of Ticket Operations’ job is to make sure our fans have a positive experience getting their tickets. Our Ticket Sales Interns will aid in this effort by processing orders the moment they come in and getting the tickets in the hands of our fans as quickly as possible.

Other Details

This internship must be for school credit. The internship is unpaid but interns will have the opportunity to earn commission on ticket packages and groups sold.

Interns must be available for all 38 home games.  Office hours will be coordinated with your schedule. Interns will work between 20-30 hours per week total.

If you want real experience on your resume and if you want to be a trusted member of a successful team, then consider an internship with your Milwaukee Admirals Ticket Sales Department.
