Vice President, Corporate Sales & Marketing - Adirondack Flames (Glens Falls, NY)

Located in Glens Falls, NY and playing at the Glens Falls Civic Center, the Adirondack Flames. the American Hockey League Affiliate of the NHL's Calgary Flames, are seeking a talented, experienced individual to manage and grow the franchise's corporate sales and marketing program. The primary function of this person will be to develop and service corporate sponsorship relationships (cash and trade agreements) from venue naming and sub-naming  rights to season ticket and group plans depending upon the objectives and budget of the corporate customer. This position will be supported by a Director, Corporate Marketing & Consumer Products and interns. 

REPORTS TO: President

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Develop a business plan with financial metrics and measures of success (qualitative and quantitative)
* Develop a tri county prospect list and update it on an ongoing basis
* Prospect, cultivate, close and service a portfolio of corporate relationships
* Enter and manage all related business on ACT
* Create all proposals and contracts for the President's review and approval
* Manage all post contract servicing obligations including the collection of fees
* Activate all relationships at the team and consumer level
* Work closely with building management and its food and beverage department, as necessary,  on all related aspects of the business
* Submit daily and weekly reports to the President as instructed 
* Collaborate with the Flames communications, game operations and ticket sales departments to merchandise all relationships accordingly
* Establish a presence within the local community as a business leader, consistent with the Flames community relations program 

REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor's Degree 
* Background in sports and entertainment preferred, but not required
* Experience in sales and marketing essential (3 to 5 years preferred) with measurable results and accomplishments attained 
* Competitive, results/relationship driven personality essential 
* Strong written and oral communications skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to design and produce sales and marketing presentations consistent with AHL and NHL standards 

COMPENSATION 

* A competitive base salary, plus a commission and bonus plan, based upon experience and ability

Manager, Corporate Partnerships – Springfield Falcons (Springfield, MA)

The Springfield Falcons, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets, are seeking a highly motivated Manager, Corporate Partnerships. The Manager, Corporate Partnerships is responsible for soliciting, securing and fulfilling sponsorship partners and agreements on behalf of the Springfield Falcons. This position will be responsible for generating revenue thought corporate sponsorship sales and servicing while maintaining high levels of client services. Must be self-disciplined, possess strong follow-up skills, and have exceptional time management skills.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for prospecting, selling, cultivating and maintaining the corporate sponsorships for Springfield Falcons
• Responsible for soliciting new cash partnerships
• Responsible for making cold calls & sales presentations for the venues
• Responsible for executing all aspects of corporate partnership fulfillment
• Responsible for working with outside agencies to get all corporate partnerships signage created and placed
• Responsible for the design of sales proposals and presentations for potential corporate partners
• Work with the marketing department on opportunities to cross sell corporate partners

Qualifications:
• Four year college degree preferred
• 2-3 years Corporate Sales and/or high level, B2B Ticket Sales experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Team oriented
• Proficient computer skills
• Effective time management skills
