POSITION SUMMARY/DESCRIPTION

This position will report directly to the Senior Director, Sales and will assist with the corporate partnership activation efforts for the Iowa Wild. Assist with ensuring all elements of assigned sponsorship accounts are fulfilled using the highest level of customer service. This person will lead the service department and deal with a diverse group of important clients and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels. This position must support the organization’s mission, vision, and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence and competence, collaboration, and innovation.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Service Corporate Partners with the highest level of Customer Service

• Upgrade current corporate partners to gain incremental revenue

• Create and help maintain sponsorship proposals and flyers

• Assist with tracking accurate account elements, sponsorship contracts, billing, fulfillment and contact information, as well as reports pertaining to proposals, contracts, and other account details into Sponsorship Management System

• Assist with developing and researching promotional platforms and partnership strategies based on client objectives and goals

• Help activate and track all assigned partner contracts to ensure that all elements are fulfilled, executed and reported in accordance with internal and external procedures and guidelines

• Greet, support, and serve current and potential clients daily and at games

• Assist, support and coordinate with internal departments in regards to all aspects of promoting and managing all other Iowa Wild department responsibilities; including but not limited to, special projects and planning

• Other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

1. FORMAL EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION

• College degree required, or equivalent experience

2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• 3 to 5 years sales and/or related marketing experience working in the sports and entertainment industry or similar field preferred

• Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong computer skills with proficiency and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

3. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

• Strong organizational, planning and implementation skills

• Ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple projects

• Ability to work well independently within team and service oriented environments

WORK CONDITIONS

• Available traditional business hours in addition to evenings, weekends and/or holidays for games or events

• Work is primarily sedentary in nature. Physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, lifting, grasping, etc.
