Account Executive - Suites + Partnerships - PSE Agency + Providence Bruins (Providence, RI)

PSE Agency is seeking an energetic self-starter with sales experience to sell partnerships and suites within a high energy, multi-platform, sports and entertainment agency.  This position would report to the Chief Sales Officer and would be responsible for generating new business and growing and retaining current business through a robust inventory of signage and advertising, digital marketing, experiential and brand and tickets and hospitality for PSE Agency properties including; The Providence Bruins, Dunkin' Donuts Center, RI Convention Center and The Vets.

The ideal candidate will be provided a “sales first” opportunity for prospecting, soliciting and closing partnerships and suites. PSE Agency provides its sales staff the support of resources including: an in-house creative department whose primary focus is producing high end, client specific digital and printed sales desks along with an in-house partnership activation department to handle all execution and fulfillment of closed business.  

Qualifications:
Candidates for this position must have a Bachelor’s Degree with 2-4 years of selling experience (tickets, partnerships, hospitality) with a professional, collegiate or minor league level sports organization.  A candidate must have a serious work ethic, self-motivation, accountability and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Account Manager, Corporate Partnerships - Springfield Thunderbirds (Springfield, MA)

The Springfield Thunderbirds of the American Hockey League are seeking a motived Account Manager of Corporate Partnerships to generate new business through local and regional sponsorships. The Account Manager will execute integrated partnerships for the Springfield Thunderbirds and MassMutual Center including, but not limited to, media and promotional programs, on premise signage, game sponsorships and event marketing.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Prospect and cultivate new corporate partner relationships in order to drive revenue for the team and arena
  • Customize partnership opportunities to meet each client’s marketing goals and objectives
  • Develop sales strategies and prospecting models to ensure a continuous pipeline
  • Build relationships with potential customers in person and over the phone including cold calling, setting discovery meetings and potential partner presentations and proposals
  • Negotiates and finalizes the contractual process
  • Pro-actively provide service to partners and potential partners by identifying, addressing and exceeding expectations while maximizing value and ensuring return on objectives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales/management experience required
  • 3+ years of sport sponsorship sales experience in professional sports or collegiate athletics
  • Self-motivated with high-energy customer relations drive
  • Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to interact with people of all different levels and backgrounds
  • Ability to work with other departments on integrating sponsor needs and requests
  • Ability to work game nights and evening events based on business needs
