Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Associate will be responsible for generating ticket sales revenue by selling Full Season & Partial Season ticket plans, group sales packages, as well as single game tickets for the Hartford Wolf Pack.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for maximizing revenue through the sale of Harford Wolf Pack ticket packages including season tickets, partial plans, group tickets, and individual game tickets.
  • Heavy outbound focus making 60+ outbound calls daily to increase your sales pipeline.
  • Establish professional relationships in order to create repeat business and superior customer service
  • Required to assist in game night duties
  • Utilize and maintain effective contacts (sales leads)
  • Use proactive tactics to create opportunities for new business with existing customers
  • Use telemarketing as a tool to sell season, group, and partial ticket plan packages to local companies from provided lists
  • Call new customers to generate ticket revenue
  • Run appointments and tours at XL Center to aid in obtaining new business and developing new relationships
  • Meet or exceed appointed sales goals for all ticket packages
  • Maintain complete and accurate customer records
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Director, Sales - Iowa Wild (Des Moines, IA)

This position is responsible for managing ticket sales staff, not only leading by example, but specifically providing direction, ongoing assistance, implementing sales strategies, and direct oversight for the Sales Department. Director of Sales will be responsible for recruitment and hiring of ticket sales staff, lead procurement via means of outside networking and prospecting. Candidate is expected to have a sales first mentality and responsible for new business development by selling Iowa Wild corporate partnerships, season tickets and group seats through phone sales and outside meetings.


  • Director of Sales will direct the staff recruiting process which includes prospecting candidates, interviews, hiring, orientation, and ongoing training
  • Create, develop, and implement sales campaigns and strategies specifically in regard to season and flex ticket sales, group sales efforts, and other promotional ticket packages
  • Track progress of department by creating reports which will show ticket sales, revenue, goals, and future projections
  • Responsible for new business development of all Iowa Wild products through face-to-face presentations, prospecting new clients, following-up on referrals and leads, and cold calling
  • Responsible for instruction, oversight, continuous training, having a sales first mentality while managing entire Ticket Sales Department
  • Makes 70+ outbound calls daily with customers/new clients prospecting new business
  • Prospects and qualifies all new leads and referrals for season tickets, group sales and suite sales
  • Meets new business development and sales goals which are defined and outlined within specific quarterly and annual budgets
  • Manages sales kiosks, service clients and work other related assignments on game days
  • Regularly attend season ticket holder events to maintain and service current ticket holders
  • Consistently deliver high-level of customer service to both internal and external clients helping provide world-class service
  • Performs other related duties as assigned



  • A degree in business, communications, sports marketing or related field.


  • Minimum 4-5 years business-to-business sales experience with proven track record of successfully developing and closing new business in a high volume sales environment
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in managing a staff, preferably in sales.
  • Proficient computer skills including ability to work with MS Word, Excel and Outlook


  • Positive attitude and desire to be successful while having fun within professional and team oriented environment
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills with ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple duties

Inside Sales Representative - Ontario Reign Hockey Club (Ontario, CA)

The Ontario Reign is looking for an energetic, professional, and self-motivated person who has a passion for sports and ticket sales. The Inside Sales Representative participates in a sales development program geared to prepare entry level candidates for a career within the sports sales industry. This individual will receive detailed and comprehensive sports sales training with a strong focus on developing the skills necessary to become an industry sales leader. The training will benefit the individual’s career growth as a full menu sports sales representative.

This opportunity would consist of generating business relationships in order to gain revenue by selling season tickets, partial game plans, group tickets, and club seats for the Ontario Reign Hockey Club of the American Hockey League. A core function of an Ontario Reign Inside Sales Representative is proactively and aggressively generating new revenue through outbound calls, prompt responses to inbound calls, team-related events, upselling, cross-selling, and generating referrals.

This position is a commission driven, part-time hourly position that does not include benefits.

• Generate revenue using all sales methods, including cold calls, face to face appointments, arena tours, prospecting, and networking
• Manage accounts in order to exceed established sales goals
• Conduct high amounts of new business calls on a daily basis

The Inside Sales Representative is an entry level position.  The Representative will be focused on selling season tickets, mini packages and group tickets via telemarketing for the San Diego Gulls.  This is a nine (9) month term position.


  • Utilize cold-calling techniques to sell ticketing inventory
  • Develop new sales leads and actively prospect daily
  • Handle incoming sales calls from sales prospects for promotional ticket packages
  • Maintain call logs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Provide superior service to clients, existing ticket holders, prospects and single game customers
  • Upgrade and up sell clients into different categories and ticket packages
