Community Involvement, Outside Promotions Staff - Manchester Monarchs Hockey Club (Manchester, NH)

The Manchester Monarchs Community Relations Department is looking for staff to be involved in setting up and staffing community events during the 2015-2016 season, from August 2015 through April 2016.

Events to include, but not limited to: Kids Fairs, Fun Runs, Monarchs events, and Chili Fests, among other events.  The applicant will be responsible for communicating with event staff, either written or by phone. Additionally, Community Relations assistants will work Monarchs Care Foundation events, held regularly throughout the season. This includes silent and live auctions on specialty nights, as well as other duties as assigned.

Applicant is to be energetic, approachable, friendly, and comfortable in approaching and speaking with children and adults.

Candidates must be able to work nights and weekends, as work is required on game nights in addition to regular office hours and staffing at events.

Inside Sales Representative - Manchester Monarchs (Manchester, NH)

The Manchester Monarchs are an ECHL hockey team located in Manchester, New Hampshire.

We are one of the sports properties owned by the Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) and affiliated with the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League. 

The Monarchs are seeking individuals for hire on a trial basis in our ticket sales department. The key responsibility of the sales associates will be to prospect qualified accounts for ticket package purchasing.

This position begins in August and will run for 30 weeks. At the end of that period, based on performance and potential, a full-time staff position could be offered. 

The ideal candidate would have some experience in direct sales and be comfortable making a pre-determined amount of phone calls daily to both consumers and businesses.

Excellent communication skills are required. All candidates must be outgoing with a can-do attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment. Training will be provided.

Promotional Team - Manchester Monarchs (Manchester, NH)

The Manchester Monarchs are searching for energetic, motivated individuals to be a part of their Promotional Team. The Promo Team works for the organization both in-season and off-season to promote the Manchester Monarchs brand at Monarchs games and various community events throughout the year. 


The game night promotions team’s primary role is the enthusiastic implementation of in-arena and on-ice promotions during Monarchs games.  The crew is also responsible for the execution of a number of other pre-game and post-game duties. The Promo Team game night team is an integral part of the game presentation staff.  They are entertaining and interactive, and act as a direct link to the fans.  These individuals are always considered “on stage” and should act as such.

We consider the floor crew to be performers in our in-game show.  Applicants should be dramatic, energetic, enthusiastic and have positive attitudes. Ice-skating ability is a REQUIREMENT for this position.

Responsibilities on a game night may include, but are not limited to: tossing T-shirts, throwing tennis balls, setting up awnings, placement of on-ice carpet, clap chants/cheers in crowd, assisting with youth hockey intermissions and on-ice promotion and greeting/thanking fans in the front lobby of the arena.


Outside of in-game promotional duties, the Promo Team will also be required to work various events with the Manchester Monarchs staff. This includes street fairs, non-profit activities, tradeshows, road races, promotional nights at local businesses and any other events that require representation.

Promo Team members will be asked to deliver marketing supplies and materials to local businesses to spread awareness about the team and educate the community about the Monarchs brand.

Promo Team members are also required to attend charitable functions hosted by the Monarchs Care Foundation, the charitable arm of the Monarchs.

Replay Computer Operator - Manchester Monarchs (Manchester, NH)

The Replay Computer Operator’s primary role is to capture, queue and play instant replays using a NewTek 3-Play machine. The replay computer operator should be able to react quickly to game situations and adjust video content accordingly.

Experience with replay equipment (such as 3-Play, EVS, or similar), as well as a basic understanding of non-linear editing, is required. Teamwork and the ability to communicate effectively are critical to the job. Knowledge of and familiarity with hockey are highly recommended.
