					POSITION PURPOSE
To enhance knowledge through hands on experience within the sports and entertainment industry assisting the XL Center and Wolf Pack Marketing/ Community Relations Department in implementation and optimization of existing community relations initiatives and fundraising efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Schedules and assist with mascot and promotional appearances
    Fulfills Wolf Pack donation requests
    Assists with creating and maintaining databases
    Develops existing and new grassroots marketing initiatives
    Assists with Wolf Pack event planning and fundraising
    Provides excellence in customer service during Work Wolf Pack games, event operations and in-game entertainment
    Writes accurate and professional press-releases, PA announcements and event descriptions
    Updates the Wolf Pack website ensuring accuracy of content

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    Must receive college credit for the internship experience
    Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week including nights and weekends
    Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point and ideally Adobe Photoshop
    Strong organization skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
    Strong writing and proofreading skills
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    Ability to handle multiple projects
    Eager to learn and take initiative
    Ability to work independently and in
